A child's play is a child's work... children play to learn, grow and experience the world around them. The staff's job is to guide your child in a positive direction through his or her development. The areas we do this in are learning abilities, emotional growth, physical coordination and spiritual growth (incorporating saying grace before meals).
The surroundings for your child will be warm and relaxed, yet structured. The staff is carefully selected and screened. The Pennsylvania Department of Welfare and Keystone STARS® sets our guidelines and regulations forth.
We just wanted to thank you for everything that you do. You all are very special. You show the kids how much you love them, you aren't there because it is your job. When L. started coming he would cry and cry. That was horrible to leave him knowing that he was crying. You all took the time to talk to him and have him go to the window with you to wave. Now he asks if he is going to school today. He tells us things he did at school. He sings the songs that he learns. I tell everyone how much we love you guys and would refer anyone to your school. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for being the loving, caring people that you are. J & J
My son, N. attended The Wonder Kids for about six months. I, unfortunately, had to withdraw him from the school because I moved out of state. I don't know who it was harder on: N., Joanna(Dir/Owner) and the other teachers, or myself. N. loved going to school. He did very well in his time there. He was always busy with the arts and crafts and other activities that his teachers planned.
Everyone at The Wonder Kids did everthing they could to make him feel at ease from day one. In his time there, he was potty-trained and they helped him in the transition of going from a toddler to a pre-schooler. The only place he would have received better care would have been at home with me.
I helped out at the school a few times and saw nothing but great care for those children. Sincerely, C.
Thanks you for letting me come along with you to pick apples! I had so much fun with all of you! M.
